This pillar focuses on strengthening global water resources management (planning, data, capacity) to integrate climate change, particularly in the basins most affected by regional cyclones, such as the central and northern basins.
Activities to be funded by the Project focus on system-level interventions, including: (i) Improvement of the hydrometeorological network in selected basins; (ii) Dynamic mapping of floods in the Limpopo, Zambezi and Licungo basins; (iii) Basin Plans in Licungo, Monapo and Meluli. (iv) Update of the Hydrogeological Map of Mozambique.
