Hydrological Situation for the Buzi, Pungwe and Save River Basin

The Buzi, Pungue and Save river basins are registering a slight reduction in runoff due to the lack of precipitation in the region. The Chicamba and Muda dams in Mozambique, and the Tokwe Murkozi dam in Zimbabwe are registering a slight reduction in the filling volume, still at 100% at Muda and 92% at Tokwe Murkozi.

The level of filling of the reservoirs is sufficient to guarantee water for supply and irrigation, including other uses, until the end of July.
