To promote Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and sustainable development​

Goals

• Driving Cooperation and advice on transboundary issues​;
• Supporting Member States on Operationalisation of  Water Sharing agreements;​
• Driving development and implementation of the Strategic plans​;
• Coordinate  planning , development  and management  for the three shared river basins​;
• Promotion of sharing of  data and information;​
• Facilitating stakeholder engagement , and
• Mobilisation of resources  to support IWRM  initiatives​.
